Today you’re going to write a were a story in 100 words. This also known as a Drabble.

The Prompt

Write a story in 100 words

Premeditated

It wasn’t premeditated, but murder nonetheless. Not messy at all. No blood was spilled so no blood spatter for the forensic geeks to argue over. Nothing looked out of the ordinary and no one suspected they were walking through a crime scene.

The following day, she was able to take a deep breath and begin to clear things away. Rearranging furniture, dusting, new bedspread with matching curtains all made the room fresh while lifting her spirits.

By the end of the week, the murder was completely forgotten. With an evil smile she deleted his phone number. The affair was over.
