Writing Outside the Lines – 2.37

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

The first day of summer is just days away. Last night as I walked back from feeding the barn cats the sounds of summer were all around me.

The Prompt:

What sounds do you associate with summer … The Sounds of Summer!

You have until Sunday, June 25, 2017 – Father’s Day – to share your writing … or when you feel the mood strike even after the 25th.

Let your creative juices flow … make me feel, see, taste, smell summer through your sounds!

All prompts are active and feel free to go back to earlier ones if you have not been one of my Writing Rebels … the only challenge here is between you and what you have to write … the rules are few and open to everyone!

*For those new to this challenge, please read the particulars under the third tab that says “read first” https://annieswritingchallenge.wordpress.com/writing-outside-the-lines/ then return to the prompt page to post your response or your web site link in the comments section.

Writing Outside the Lines – Prompt 2.28

Sometimes you have a word, a phrase, an idea bouncing around in the back of your brain screaming to be let out, developed, written about … a poem … a story or something in between. It just will not let you go until there is an attempt.

These two sentences floated out of nowhere, somewhere, everywhere and have been annoying me for days …

“I am dying,” she told him.

“Darling, we are all dying,” was is reply.

You have until Sunday, April 23, 2017 – Easter – to share your writing … or when you feel the mood strike even after the 23rd.
