Writing Outside the Lines – Prompt 22

Welcome to 2016 … this is the first prompt of the new year! The prompt for this week is the picture below … I had two picture prompts, but decided on this one because it had a personal memory for me:

Look at the picture. Who is the girl? Why is she wearing a red ribbon tied in the back? What is her story? What happens next?

Answer any or all of the previous questions using the picture of this girl. When  I saw this picture, it bought back a childhood memory and a verbal story told to me when I was about five and we were on a long car trip. His story stuck with me all these years and it still is one that is a bit scary and definitely mysterious. Not sure if I will retell his story or have one of my own for the challenge this week!

Remember you are in charge of your words, there is no ‘right or wrong’ with this process other than to have FUN!

You have until Sunday, January 10, 2016 to share your writing … or when you feel the mood strike even after the 10th.

All prompts are active and feel free to go back to earlier ones if you have not been one of my Writing Rebels … the only challenge here is between you and what you have to write … the rules are few and open to everyone!

*For those new to this challenge, please read the particulars under the third tab that says “read first” https://annieswritingchallenge.wordpress.com/writing-outside-the-lines/ then return to the prompt page to post your response or your web site link in the comments section
