Writing Outside the Lines – Prompt 13
Look at the above picture. We are about to enter the Thanksgiving season. Let the picture speak to you. Follow your heart, your muse or let your inspiration flow for your response.
Remember you are in charge of your words, there is no ‘right or wrong’ with this process other than to have FUN!
You have until Sunday, November 8, 2015 to share your writing … or when you feel the mood strike even after the 8th.
All prompts are active and feel free to go back to earlier ones if you have not been one of my Writing Rebels … the only challenge here is between you and what you have to write … the rules are few and open to everyone!
*For those new to this challenge, please read the particulars under the third tab that says “read first” https://annieswritingchallenge.wordpress.com/writing-outside-the-lines/ then return to the prompt page to post your response or your web site link in the comments section

Your very soul is in this poem … thinking about that truly horrible time a few weeks ago and can see you … healing … then …

Thank you Annie … knew you would “get” it … was horrible … Thank you again, so much for everything!

Replying to you response below … since I don’t have a reply for it …
That horrible time was a triple whammy for you and not everyone has a clue what all you went through during those horrible days and what you did to protect those involved that you love.

Living In The Light Of The Moon
Autumn…a favorite season
But not for the reasons
Most would choose…
Celebrations many
Leading to one that
Is more commerce
Than true belief
Some are sad to see
Summer’s flowers dying
But I look closely…
They’re only in slumber
Returning in their glory
One after another in Spring
The harvest moon
Once meant just that
Now mere icon…
But the moon
In any season
Inspires dreamers
Guilty as charged
I shout…Dreaming big?
Wishful thinking?
I prefer the former
And as a wise man sang…
“I’m not the only one”
John Lennon – Imagine
