Look at the above picture. Pick a rock, or two, or use them all to incorporate the words/phrases into your prompt response. Or … you decide how you want to write about these rocks … the words and phrases may not even by your choice … it is all up to your personal creativity!

Remember you are in charge of your words, there is no ‘right or wrong’ with this process other than to have FUN!

You have until Sunday, November 1, 2015 to share your writing … or when you feel the mood strike even after the 1st.

All prompts are active and feel free to go back to earlier ones if you have not been one of my Writing Rebels … the only challenge here is between you and what you have to write … the rules are few and open to everyone!

*For those new to this challenge, please read the particulars under the third tab that says “read first” https://annieswritingchallenge.wordpress.com/writing-outside-the-lines/ then return to the prompt page to post your response or your web site link in the comments section

  1. Peace Now…Why Not?

    We claim to long
    For peace and love
    Religions tell us
    It’s the way

    When then did it
    All come undone?
    Don’t try to tell me
    Let us pray

    The peace is what
    Is inside us
    We have it
    From our birth

    We learn to fight
    We learn to hate
    It’s part of us
    As well…or not so well

    I wish you peace…
    And you are loved…
    Why are they so hard
    Not just to say
    But to believe
    And practice

    This aging hippie
    Has long believed
    Love comes from peace
    Pain and death from war
